Is "Community Tools" based on Drupal Commons 3?

Is community tools based on Drupal Commons 3? Maybe could be a good idea. Kudos for your Distributtion it looks well! Regards

Hi, thanks for the feedback! No, Community Tools is not based on Drupal Commons although the basic structure seems to be the same at the first glance.


We started our developments three years ago and today Commons has evolved to be really similar to us. I'd say that Commons is maybe better for general groups and we focus more on local communities, their public websites and mapping technologies.
